Kαινούριο άλμπουμ κυκλοφόρησαν οι The Walkabouts με τίτλο "Berlin". Το album κυκλοφόρησε στις 16 Νοεμβρίου 2012 και είναι μια συναρπαστική συλλογή παλιών και νέων τραγουδιών, με τεράστιες επυτυχίες της μπάντας όπως τα 'The Light Will Stay On' και 'Jack Candy'. Είναι η πρώτη επίσημη κυκλοφορία μιας ζωντανής ηχογράφησης στα τριάντα χρόνια της ιστορίας της μπάντας. Ηχογραφήθηκε στις 14 Ιούλη 2012 στο C-Club στο Βερολίνο, ως και εκ τούτου ο τίτλος.
Το lineup της μπάντας αποτελείται από τα ιδρυτικά μέλη Carla Torgerson (φωνητικά, κιθάρα) και Chris Eckman (φωνητικά, κιθάρα), Terri Moeller (τύμπανα), Glenn Slater (πλήκτρα) και ο Michael Wells (μπάσο), και το νεότερο μέλος Paul Austin (κιθάρα), που είναι στο συγκρότημα πριν από την τελευταίο studio album τους 'Travels in The Dustland'.
